“How envious must have you been of the free ones, Atlas, to unleash your curse on some of them, to make them wish to carry the poison of the unworthy, to cry the tears of the broken and to speak the words of the silent? You wished to see them die young, but they ended up as stars on the sky above your shoulders and they became your children. 

Breathlessness became their routine, as the smoke of the smoldering hearts they're loving flood their lungs. They've learned to endure the burden of one's universe and never get the chance to gaze at its stars.

They don't despise you, Atlas. Your own curse made them understand you.”
